Menu Flavours

I have created a selection of delicious, punchy flavours with a soft, springy, moist sponge texture. I only use high quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, and my own special recipes, refined and perfected to ensure that your cake tastes as good as it looks. All jams are chosen for their glossy texture and high fruit content.

Most flavours are available in gluten-free and egg-free options. All products do not contain nuts unless stated, although the studio is not a nut-free environment.

Fully dairy-free options are not available at this time, but if you have specific dietary requirements, please  mention these as there may be options available that would be suitable for your order.

Cakes The classic selection

Lady Victoria    –  classic vanilla sponge made with Madagascan vanilla beans and filled with vanilla buttercream and   raspberry jam. My most popular flavour choice!

Rouge Velour    –  my take on red velvet, a little bit tangy, not too sweet and with a creamy hint of vanilla.  Classically   filled with vanilla buttercream.

Jessica Rabbit    –  sexy, silky carrot cake with a hint of zest, paired with vanilla buttercream. You can also choose my   lemon or orange versions if you prefer it a little fruitier.

Saltzburg    –  moist Madagascan vanilla sponge with fudgy pieces and layered with house-made salted caramel   and vanilla buttercream.

Double Chocolate Saltzburg  –  moist chocolate sponge, chocolate buttercream and homemade salted caramel for a   richer, chocoholic-friendly combination

Leipzing    –  zesty lemon sponge with a light, zingy lemon drizzle, filled with lemon curd and creamy vanilla   buttercream.

Fruity Leipzing   – a zingier, fruitier version of Leipzing, with zesty lemon drizzle sponge, lemon buttercream and   raspberry or blueberry jam.

Out of Bruges    –  inspired by the home of couture chocolate, this incredibly popular cake is layers of moist, light   chocolate sponge and creamy, fluffy chocolate buttercream

Cherry Schwartz  –  my take on black forest gateau, with moist, light chocolate sponge and layers of tangy black   cherry jam and vanilla buttercream. n

Cherry Bakewell  –  Deliciously moist almond sponge with layers of cherry jam and vanilla buttercream. n

Pavlova  –  available in lemon or raspberry, the Pavlova is layers of fruity sponge with jam or curd and vanilla   buttercream with chunks of crispy meringue.

Cakes The gourmet selection

Champagne & Strawberry  –  a classic combination in an exciting new way. Prosecco-soaked vanilla sponge with   bubbly prosecco buttercream and  strawberry jam. A #

After Dinner Mint  –  a rich, fresh take on chocolate cake comprising moist chocolate sponge filled with alternating layers   of whipped mint dark chocolate ganache and peppermint buttercream. #

It’s Not Terry’s  –  rich, fresh and zesty chocolate orange, with chocolate and orange zest sponge, orange curd and   alternating layers of fresh orange buttercream and milk chocolate orange whipped ganache. #

Goodnight Mr Tom  –  Combining the awesomeness of Mr Tom bars with the American staple of peanut butter jelly   sandwiches,  this is vanilla sponge, with layers of peanut butter and strawberry jam, peanut   buttercream and a “magical crunch zone” of peanut brittle.  N #

Banoffee Pie  –  We’ve deconstructed an American favourite. Moist and flavourful banana sponge filled with layers of   house-made salted caramel and creamy vanilla buttercream. #

The Ambassador  –  with this cake, your guests will feel you are really spoiling them!  Layers of chocolate sponge and   hazelnut buttercream with a central layer of hazelnut spread and milk chocolate   whipped ganache    packed with chopped hazelnuts.  N #

Matcha Leipzing  –  zesty lemon sponge tinted the beautiful, natural  green of matcha green tea, then layered with   lemon curd and lemon buttercream. #

Moroccan Delight  –  inspired by the bazaars of Marrakesh, this is zesty orange and cardamon cake with a blend of   nutmeg and other sweet spices is paired with zesty orange curd and fresh orange buttercream. #

Gin & Tonic  –  zesty lime sponge with gin and lime drizzle, lime curd and bubbly tonic buttercream. Also available as   a bitter lemon version for added zing. A #

Uber Flapjacks

My Uber Flapjacks are a classic blend of Scottish oats, butter and a little bit of sugar, all mixed up with exciting toppings and some Torte magic to make them truly “oat couture”.

Raspberry ripple  –  classic flapjack base, raspberry jam filling, topped with a drizzle of white chocolate and dehydrated   raspberries.

Chocolate strawberry   –  classic flapjack base,  strawberry jam filling, topped with a drizzle of milk chocolate and dehydrated    strawberries.

Raspberry & rose  –  classic flapjack base, raspberry jam filling, topped with a drizzle of rose water icing and dehydrated raspberries   and rose petals.

Rhubarb & custard  –  classic flapjack base, rhubarb jam filling, topped with vanilla custard icing and dehydrated rhubarb pieces.

Ginger baker  –  chocolate flapjack base, tangy orange marmalade filling, topped with a drizzle of dark chocolate, stem ginger   pieces an  tangy dehydrated orange slices.

Toffee apple  –  classic flapjack base, apple filling, topped with a drizzle of salted caramel and tangy, chewy dehydrated apple   pieces.

Cherry Bakewell  –  almond flapjack base, cherry jam filling, topped with a drizzle of classic icing and glossy cherry pieces. n

Apple crumble  –  classic flapjack base, apple filling, topped with vanilla custard icing and tangy, chewy dehydrated apple pieces.

Brambles  –  classic flapjack base, bramble fruits jam, topped with vanilla custard icing and dehydrated bramble fruits.

Out of Bruges  –  chocolate flapjack base, chocolate chunk filling, topped with drizzled milk chocolate and chocolate chunks.

Christmas  –  festive spiced flapjack base, home-made mincemeat filling, topped with a drizzle of brandy icing, glossy cherries   and edible holly.

Macarons

My macarons are light, crispy and chewy almond meringues with a two-part filling: a punchy core surrounded by fluffy ruffled buttercream .  All macaron shells, except where stated, are neutral in flavour and can be coloured to your preference .

Cake Pops

Cake pops are cake truffles on handy sticks and are avaialbel dipped in white, milk or dark chocolate. White chocolate can be coloured to your preference.

Triple Choc Truffle  –  chocolate sponge blended with whipped chocolate ganache and chocolate chunks

Cookies

My cookies are shortbread in style and are covered with a thin layer of jam, curd or salted caramel to attach the icing decorations.
